The 2005 sixth-generation (C6) Corvette is five inches shorter than the C5 and within 0.1 inch of its longtime street and track rival, the Porsche 911. The whole treatment creates a global sports car designed to appeal to Corvette traditionalists and successfully woo conquest buyers who've previously chosen leaner, cleaner Euro hardware.
